Eye Pieces Partners with Kidd's Kids and Upcoming Trunk Show Fundraiser

We are excited to partner with Eye Pieces in Plano (Shops at Legacy). They will be providing eye exams and prescription glasses to any Kidd's Kids who needs them. In addition, they are holding a Trunk Show Event benefitting Kidd's Kids on Saturday, May 12th. More information regarding both the event and the partnership are below!!

Jackson said…: i have been in remission from osteosarcoma fro 3 months and have a new bone in my left leg and am now able to walk again with a slight limp. i wanted to go on the trip with you guys last year with my mom and 2 brothers, but i was in the hospital for chemo plus i couldn't walk so it probably wouldn't have been much fun. i am glad that you guys do this for kids and their families. my mom and brothers literally lived with me at the hospital for over a year and my mom lost her job due to having to take off so much with me. she was even on the news and in the paper with me. google "rashel coatney" and see the stories...they are pretty cool. anyway, hope you have a nice day.

He is 7 years old and has been in and out of school due to low blood counts, no immune system etc. Joshua represented Wayne County in Jesup, Ga. as the Grand Marshall for Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society. I don't know if we are eligible or how this all works, but I would love some additional information. Please let me know. We are also looking into doing another fundraiser (this would be our second one) with chik-fil-a on St. Simons Island........any other fundraisers you can throw our way to participate in would be greatly appreciated!!!

Our son, Huntur 7, has had his bone marrow transplant on April 30, 2008. Our daughter, Madalyna 5, will have to have a bone marrow transplant within the next 3 years. After that they will both fight many more cancers.

Also I wouldnt be able to get the Dr portion filled out by our physician by the 7th?? I am going to go ahead and fill out the app, and see what happens... we are either elligible or were not... but at least we will have thye app in. Either way, what you do is great, and hopefully we can find something like this close to home for our kids, they go through so much!!!
